Nebraska fan / native Nathan Lashley is tied for 6th, 2 shots off the lead after the first round of the U.S. Open. Husker golf fans have one of our own to cheer for. The guy has been through a lot to get to where he's at.

Nate shot a +3 today to leave him at -1 overall after the 2nd round. He is currently tied with Phil Mickelson, and 1 stroke ahead of Tiger Woods.
 



Nate held the lead after the first round of Rocket Mortgage Classic with a bogey free -9 under round. Keep it up Nate!

After his 3rd round of -9 for a total of -23, Nate has a 6 shot lead going into the final day. He almost went home to Scottsdale after he didn't qualify, but luckily he stuck around and got in as an alternate. Go get that first PGA win Buddy!

If you watched him yesterday, it seemed he was playing at a different level than everyone else. He had a few bad shots, but recovered quite well everytime.

For sure. A bogey free 63 is impressive as hell at Pioneers or Holmes, let alone in the final group of the third round in a PGA event. The guy is on fire!
