You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah

So I thought this movie sounded funny, and it had a great ensemble cast with some talented and funny actors:
Pierce Brosnan
Ellen Barkin
Michael Rooker
Richard Kind
Julie Hagerty
Dean Winters

Unfortunately, this movie is a turd. Adam Devine's antics were annoying as hell, as were everyone else's characters.

I quit watching after 10 minutes

You should have kept watching. It got better.

It was mindlessly entertaining.

The parents in the movie were the best part.

It wasn’t academy award worthy by any means but it was good enough to kill a couple hours of mindless entertainment.

The new Gal Gadot movie on Netflix is the same way.

I poured myself some Tito's, and rewatched Out-Laws tonight.

You were right.
I bailed too soon the first time. It was funny. Not high brow humor, but silly and goofy. Similar to movies like Grown-Ups, Austin Powers, etc. Devine's character was still annoying at times, but legit funny at others.

If you liked this movie, then you will like the others I listed. The gal who plays Phoebe King in this movie stars in 'The Other Missy'. Crude, crazy, and funny.
