Mine is more of a "Subtle as a Sledgehammer" approach. Gets the adrenaline going. The old Ford Coupe at the bottom will be something to be proud of someday.
We are working on a few others. Some done, some a long ways from done.
A wire leading from the distributor to the plugs disintegrated; no spark after that. This after spending two months fighting an overheating problem; still not fixed. Today I find out the steering buckle on the steering post is cracked. Fighting old age is a full time job.
Need to update my Mustang. We had overheating problems with the 289 and pulled it out and put in a 1989 5L (302). Still gets warm but not hot. The 289 was sent away and given an acid bath to clean out residue left in it by the outfit that cleaned it up and bored out the cylinders. Hope to get it back in the car this fall or next spring.
