That’s a dumb statement and unmeasurable stat. The Gophers football team has allowed 24 points this season. 6 points per game not 3 points for the season.
The NCAA doesn’t measure points scored against a 1st team defense. FWIW Iowa leads the nation averaging 5.75 points per game (Minnesota is 2nd).

Was listening to a Wisconsin sports radio show and they had a UW Badger analyst on ... remember that this is on the heels of their tOSU loss. He was asked specifically about winning the West. He said that the Badger's ILB are so bad that Minnesota's RPO game will just eat them alive.
Gopher's have an experienced QB, solid offensive line and outstanding RBs.
The RPO will cause them to take one step - just one step in the wrong direction and they will give up multiple long runs. When asked about the other teams in the West ... he said the only linebacking corp that is worse than the Badgers was Nebraska's.
