Has anyone heard if the captains have been named for volleyball? I have googled the question, but the reply has always been "no official announcement has been made". Is there a timetable for such an announcement?

Wow, Texas taken to 5 sets by Marquette, who was predicted to be 4th in the Big East. Like 24 service errors. The coach has had 5 players trying topspin serves, and they are running a 6-2 with two setters, neither one of whom is Ella Swindle, the setter who took then to the National Championship in 2024. Lots of controversy over what the coach is doing down there. Personally, I would have felt better if Texas was 3-0 coming into our match. The pressure will be mostly on us, I fear.
I see a gal post on Tik Tok regularly on volleyball, and she has said more than once what is the Texas coach doing. The topspin has not worked, the 6-2 hasn't worked, and what's with not playing Swindle.
I agree I'd prefer they were 3-0, but then there should be some pressure for them. Perhaps to go along with the way they are playing there is some friction in the locker room that needs to be worked out. If everyone else can see what's wrong you'd have to think the players have to be asking why are we doing this.
