Thanks for sharing.

Any idea when the 2025 VB Championship tickets will go on sale for the event in KC? I bought tickets years ago for the same event but can’t remember appropriately when they went on sale…thanks.

Sign up with NCAA Women’s Volleyball to receive email notice. This year I got an email on August 8 for VIP ticket sales starting August 12. Probably worth keeping in touch with NU volleyball office too.

Thanks I have already signed up. I thought the tickets went on sale much earlier at least that was my recollection.

It will be interesting to see who they get to come to this event. I'm sure they will go for the usual suspects; Texas, Stanford, Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, etc. In addition, I would like to see some of the not-quite top ten teams like maybe Florida, SMU, Arizona State, Baylor, Oregon, etc.

I was thinking they would slot Creighton in the day 2 single match slot to help with attendance that day. But I think it will be summer before they announce the teams.

Creighton?

That would be a good choice. Since Nebraska already plays Creighton in the regular season, they wouldn't be able to play each other in this tournament. Still, it would be good to see Creighton playing with/against the big-name schools.

Creighton has also earned the opportunity to play in a tournament like this. I hope they get the chance.

Watched the Kicking back with the Cooks last night. Sounds like we start off with Pittsburg on the first night. Stanford is also on the first night. Creighton on the second night, Coach Cook couldn't remember who else is coming. Sunday is winners and losers play each other.

I'm not sure about the part with the winners and losers playing each other on Sunday. I don't think the ACC wants a potential Pittsburgh-Stanford match to occur on day 3 since the two schools will meet each other twice in ACC league play.

I would bet that Nebraska will play Pitt on Friday, then play Stanford on Sunday no matter who wins or loses.

He wasn't real clear on the winners and losers playing on Sunday, but I would think the Friday teams would play the Saturday teams, which means Pitt and Stanford would not play each other since they both play on Friday.

Creighton is a Saturday team, not sure if they'd want to match them with Nebraska since we usually play regular season.

I thought it was interesting when he was asked for his opinion on how well Beason is doing now compared to how she played at the end of the season for NU. He said he wanted to call her and ask what she may feel is different.

Yea, the plan on the AVCA website says Friday teams will switch partners on Sunday and Saturday teams play just on Saturday. You can’t have Nebraska playing Creighton or a B1G team on Sunday, or two ACC teams play each other. Heard Florida will be one of the other teams. I am sure Cook spoke before AVCA wanted him to.
