My pick with KJSr is that it doesn’t take 3 years to install effort, discipline and tackling. Husker fans recognize effort no matter the record. But a team that plays the game badly is the unforgivable sin.
Before posters jump the gun and start considering KJ public enemy #1, I hope they consider he's coming from a position of love and respect for Riley as a former player of his. KJ has been very complimentary towards Husker fans and the state in general.

I’m sure there’s some part of KJSr, deep down, that knows MR hasn’t fielded a very good team.
Nobody is expecting a National Championship in a year. Hell nobody is expecting a Conference Championship in a year. What we do expect is progress. What we do expect is a team that can tackle. What we do expect is a team that doesn't get shoved back six yards at the the hike of the ball.
I’m ready for this whole nightmare season and experiment to be over. Tired of the fighting, discord, drama etc.. Not sure what the future holds for us but please God make this stop.
