Summer Press Conference

Every year I follow Husker Baseball, knowing they will come up short in the tournament. But every year I console myself by thinking Next Up is Football Season so its all good! This year, I hate to admit, I am just not as excited. It is like I know what will happen. They will win the non-conference games then probably struggle against every conference team. A bowl game, which has become almost what the spring game used to be, may or may not happen but the countdown is just not like watching the top ten every week and seeing how the huskers will get in line for a national championship. But then looking ahead, there is basketball and can Fred keep the improvements happening. Will his new players step up and play Fred-ball or be like a few years ago and play like a one-man team? Matt Rhule must step up and make us forget basketball until December. That is the goal as I see it.

I can't even fathom getting married while I was still in college. Apparently our maturity levels back in those days was not as advanced as the kids are now. I can't imagine missing out on the ridiculous amount of fun we had.
