Stop Losing to Iowa

Seriously, at what point is Nebraska going to start dominating this series against the definition of mediocre Iowa. So tired of losing to garbage Iowa. I see it as Nebraska’s greatest hill to climb. Iowa is an absolute nothing on the national scene. Way past time to start beating them on an annual basis. The bar is pretty low if you can’t beat Iowa annually.

Yep, having just “we have better corn” to fall back on is getting old. But still, their corn really does suck.
 
NU beats Iowa in literally every other sport other than FB and BB. Baseball, VB, Track, bowling, now wrestling....i haven't looked at every result or schedule, but i don't recall Iowa being good in any of those.
 
Three incredibly close, exciting games in which we came up short twice. This was to get to the Elite 8. Iowa was not mediocre this year, nor were we. Both teams will finish in the Top 15. Frustrating to lose what is becoming a true rivalry game for sure, but it is not an indication that we are a mediocre or a bad team.

Better get used to it. Their HC is building something we may not be able to overcome. Our HC is pretty good too but theirs has 7 straight 20+ win seasons at NWMS, Drake & ia, including 4 straight nattys in D2 @ NWMS.

Anyone who would believe that is ignorant. We don’t have as deep of a roster. That was the difference in this game, and most losses this year. We got every ounce of success we could have from this team, and that’s because of excellent coaching. Our individual talent was never Sweet 16 worthy. Our team elevated that talent.
 
I dunno, I'm getting comfortable losing to Iowa every year. It's become our tradition. It's become reliable. It's comforting to always know the outcome. I may even start pulling out my fingernails with pliers and soaking my bloody stubs in salt and vinegar just to make the annual experience more complete.

So you are suggesting Fred told the guys in the huddle that we only want 4 on the court? Or are you going to nit pick at an obvious error that wasn't just missed by our players and coaches, but an officiating crew that also is responsible for knowing how many players are on the court?

Isn't it always the case that the least informed make the most noise?

Relying on the refs to bail us out isn’t a solid plan. The coaches are responsible for ensuring the right players, in the correct amount, are on the court.
