It wasn’t pretty at times….. We left some runners in scoring position that we should not have.

But Ty Horn horn was brilliant on the mound…..and actually, so was the kid from Holy Cross until we finally tagged him for a home run.

Devon Nunez went four for five

And Cayden Brumbaugh and Hogan Helixo hit jacks.

Our defense absolutely sparkled. Really sharp!

We will play the loser of the Oklahoma, North Carolina game Sunday at noon.

My guess is young Timmerman will start.

Win enough to survive…. Move on.

Luke got rattled, but he fought hard to get it back together, to shut them down in the 9th!
 
ESPNU has a game scheduled at the time we are playing. Too much to ask if they show our game?

Are we scheduled on espn+??

Yep…. first time I ever saw actual fear in that kid’s eyes.. He usually has ice water in his blood.

That DP came at juuuuust the right time.
 
North Carolina, for as good as they have been over the years, has a very small stadium. Pretty but small.

4100 seat, 5000 max capacity with standing room.

We need to start hosting regionals….. we’d put 8,000-9,000 people in the stands every game and it wouldn’t matter who would be playing.

Great season for Husker baseball. Making the tournament and not going 0-2 and BBQ means we'll have Will Bolt for years to come.
