ok here is the easiest way to start. Hamburger casserole the mother of all things holy in basic cooking.
take a pound of ground beef and brown it. while browning it on medium heat break it into small pieces
drain excess fat
cook half a package of wide noodles in salt water per package direction usually about 7 to 8 minutes
these 2 steps can be done at the same time.
take a can of cream of mushroom soup, a package of dry onion soup mix, 1 cup of milk and add to browned beef.
if desired you can substitute cr. of mushroom with cr. of broccoli, cr. of chicken or cr. of whatever floats your boat.
now add frozen vegetable of choice usually about 1/2 of 16 oz. package and cooked and drained noodles.
place in casserole dish and if desired crush up some corn flakes coated with a few tablespoons of melted butter and top casserole.
cook in 350 degree oven for about 40 to 60 minutes and enjoy.
hamburger can be replaced with canned tuna, canned salmon, diced chicken from store bought roasted chicken, canned chicken or whatever you want.
there are countless ways to make this casserole and it is as simple as can be. just start making them and improvise as you go. you can also add 2 cans of cr. of whatever soup if desired and that way you can mix and match them.
