Yes they said they will do a more traditional spring game
sounds like spring practice and the spring game will be earlier in the year than typical, March ???
if i recall, the reason they stopped doing spring games is they didnt want to showcase talent on the field only to have another team steal them away cuz they could transfer anytime. now that there is only 1 window to transfer, i think ppl return to that spring game tradition.

I’m very excited about this! I used to really enjoy going to the Spring Games because (in big part) it was the only chance I could get to watch our Huskers from the Club Seat area… which for me, really enhanced the experience.
I hope I get the opportunity to do that again!

Frozen tundra of Osborne Field !! Husker marching band during March warm-ups ..... woodwind instruments froze and would not play and mouthpieces of brass instruments got stuck to band's lips. Several members of the band and football players were transported to local hospitals for hypothermia

I always thought it was good for kids or families that couldn’t go otherwise. Like due to sellouts or affordability. You can’t give tickets away down there now. That younger generation has zero interest. Bummer.
