There was a lengthy break with some country music in between. Given that the first match was only two sets with a long break in between, I don't think it would be much different than a regular five set match.
Personally, I didn't like the break as long as it was ... had a hard time staying awake for the championship!
Duh! Missed that cimpletely.
Yeah for SMU it was more like a 5 set match with a half time after two sets. If anything I'd think it would be as hard if not harder taking an hour and a half break and then have to come back and play again.
That being said as tough as Florida played a little time to reflect and think about things was probably a good thing for Nebraska. For them the break was good mentally rather then physically.
Actually, the parking was not bad, except the price. The fan advantage was most definitely to the Huskers. We had twice or three times as many fans as the other three schools together. It was almost like attending a home game….lots of red and “Go Big Red”.
Florida played tough but they really had nothing to lose. They have some rocket arms for servers but when all was said and done their ability was well below Nebraska's ability. I think as the season progresses we will see their ranking (#17) was pretty accurate.
I think Florida > SMU. I think SMU is overrated!
