This is very good news. Since the University probably can't officially lobby Congress/DHS, I hope there's somebody in the 1890 Inititive who will help Amy Williams by taking up the cause of international student athletes. NIL collectives can't offer anything to players like Jaz and Issie because of international student visa rules.
Because of Jaz and Issie's success at Nebraska, the Huskers really could develop an international pipeline to Australia. But it's going to be difficult to convince players to come to college in the USA rather than stay home or play pro ball internationally if we can't use NIL.
