News, any news, is hard to come by regarding Women's Basketball, particularly if it is Good News. An experienced point guard seems like just what we have been missing in the past. The details will sure be interesting when they are announced.
The pleasing influx of newcomers and transfers recently give me some hope that the WBB staff has realized the need to make some changes in transitioning to the Big Ten. In my mind that means upping both their recruiting ability to attract P-5 level players, and their coaching skills to develop that talent to the next level.
Hope you're right Red Don. But note, the last 2 attempts at the "experienced" point guard (transfers) failed miserably from a basketball perspective. Hopefully this one will be different.
