Shocking! How do you do that?

Still room for improvement on offense for sure.

Explain. Was the call to the wide open receiver who simply dropped the ball a bad call? How about the other drops?

I don’t buy into the argument that simply because the offense struggles, that the OC called a bad game. I would have liked to see more running midway through the 4th quarter. We were knocking Iowa off the line and moving the ball well.

But on to the bowl game.
Agree Neyor has to catch that ball, but a game never comes down to one play. TE reverses come to mind.

Shavers is listed as his back up and so far this year I have seen a lot of good things from Shavers!! And he was a true Freshman
Shavers has ability, but needs some work on understanding winning football. He’s a frosh so hopefully that improves.

It makes a ton of sense to throw in that situation. Especially because it was a tight game and really cold.

I mentioned it in the game thread, but offensive coordinators (not just at Nebraska) get very skittish when a run doesn't go for a big gain, but they never lose faith in the passing game, even after losses, sacks, incompletions, or interceptions.

It's an interesting phenomenon.
