Distance was huge in this one and UA had been his favorite for awhile....nothing the staff did wrong....he wanted to stay on the West Coast and as close as possible to San Diego....hard to get a kid from the Coast when they are set on staying 'home'....

Newby is #1 on our board and I really think we have a shot at his commit....I think we take one RB and perhaps two if the right kid comes along....
 

Not wanted I wanted to hear, but if he wants to be able to get back home frequently and vice-versa, you can't fault him for the decision. It is a fairly easy drive on I-8 from San Diego to Tucson. Best of luck to him.
