Ranking the Top 50 Early CFB Recruiting Signees


3 to Ohio State
3 to Michigan
2 to Mich. State
1 to Penn State
1 to Wisconsin
1 to Purdue

So 11 of the 50 to the B1G. Seems about right.
 
What ranking system are they using? Wandale is top 50 by almost every rating service. So if he is top 50- in the class how is he not top 50 of early signees which is a subset of all signees?
 



I count 25 in the SEC, fully half. The rest:
B1G. 11
ACC. 4
Big 12. 4
PAC 12. 5
ND. 1

Doesn’t really matter whose list you use, the relative numbers won’t change much.
 




After ALA and GA, Schools with 3 on list — OSU, Mich, LSU, TA&M, Oregon, Okla.

So 8 schools have 2/3 of the top 50.
