Just for kicks, I am conducting this same poll over on the Oklahoma State board.
So far, 62.5% say they are significantly less interested than 10 years ago. Compared to 47% on HMax.
Yet another 37.5% of OSU followers say they are either somewhat more interested or significantly more interested versus 10 years ago. Only 6.7% of HMaxers fall into that category.
The two programs are 5 hours apart. One gets twice as much $$ in the Big 10. The "payroll" for both teams is in the $23 million range this year. The current temperature is that OSU fans feel a bit better, but still most say they are somewhat less or significantly less interested. The optimism is probably because hope springs eternal and they have a brand-new coach and 90+ new players on the roster.
I am going to continue monitoring to see how the results look and compare in a week.

On the job, it's not a nap. It is concentrating on a problem to come up with the "dream" solution.Some of us have JOBS so a nap was not an option.
all the above. i used to have a 8 screen wall just for saturday football in the basement. sold off most of it a couple years ago. just no desire to see what its become. i used to be downright giddy for saturday mornings. now, im not afraid to go to the store or do something outside in the middle of the day....
every saturday used to be like christmas morning when you were 5 and got to open presents. now its like getting a colonoscopy....
I sleep like crap most of the time, so on the rare occasion when I can get a nap, cranking down the AC, crawling into bed in the afternoon is the absolute best. Doesn’t happen very often, but it’s amazing when it does.
I voted "Somewhat less interested than 10 years ago". My daughter who was a BIG NU fan 10 years ago or so now she voted "No interest in CFP whatsoever ....."
I'm between 2 and 3. I supposed chose number 3 .....

I’m every bit as excited to watch football on Saturdays as i was 10 years ago. What’s changed is the amount of information i consume during the offseason. I used to drive around all day with Omaha sports stations playing and read every article on Hmax daily. I haven’t listened to anything all offseason and have maybe clicked on 5 articles.
I can get with this. I spend a lot less time in the off season worrying about and listening to talking heads discuss things.
Some people (like me) are probably tired of the endless, meaningless speculation and predictions. Everyone has an opinion that means absolutely zilch at this point. That all changes this weekend.
If there are only 10 people in here next week, that would be truly sad.
