Randy Gregory

There is scientific debate on the addiction issue. Non- scientist puffers, like everyone else, like to just read the first sentence of headlines and not the whole research articles. While great for many medical conditions weedythc and smoke inhaled anywhere can have many negative effects on a body. No matter what your weed propagandists say science continually launches new research.
Hope Randy gets a break and gets to keep playing. Peace and GBR
Has there ever been a study on marijuana use on autism/birth defects?

I’m happy RG is getting there ... hopefully he has a chance to standout!

Good for him.

He seems best suited for the 'Pass rush specialist' role, rather than being an every down player, but he did play well last year.

I don't know how he's managing his anxiety issues right now, but I hope for his sake the NFL drops marijuana from it's 'banned' list. He may be 100% right now, but I'd hate to see all his hard work and perseverance be erased because of something that's legal in a lot of places and headed toward legal everywhere. He may have put that behind him though.
He’s a great pass rusher but I actually see him as an every down player in today’s NFL. The Cowboys defense got better when he was on the field.

I'm not a pot guy. I personally hate the stuff.

I really like what CBD cream has done for my arthritis pain, so there is that.

Completely agree on the fact that there is good and bad related to smoking cannabis, or anything for that matter. I don't see it as an evil or a savior.

Agree on RG. I hope he's in a good place and that continues.

He played well last season, no question. He's at his peak in limited action, but that's not to say the the can't play a full time role.

I'm not against weed for the most part I think it has it place. However getting paid millions of dollars I think following the rules set out are important no matter how silly they seem.

Sure.

It would be easy for me.

I don’t suffer from anxiety and I don’t like weed.

My sister suffers from panic attacks. There are ways of dealing with these things that don't involve illegal substances. There are legal medications and therapy that work wonders. I would think someone making the kind of money Gregory is making could afford it.

Right.

I have someone very close to me who suffers from debilitating panic attacks and is equally debilitated by those legal meds. They’re not interested in trying marijuana, but if they were and it helped and DIDN’T cripple them nearly as bad as their panic attacks, I’d 100% support it.

I understand people’s hesitancy to open the drug floodgates, but some of this stuff is a bit ridiculous.

those 'legal' drugs working "wonders" are also cause of great concern. legal in no way means they're always good/better. I'm not pro pot as i believe the laziness that comes with it is hard to argue. i can maybe come up with 2 people i know that smoke that actually work to make life better. the rest....you guessed it, depend on the rest of us to do it for them. however, the "legal" wonders have put more than 1 friend of mine in the grave not to mention the lasting effects that are not publicized ...err i mean known. too each there own i guess because no matter which way you slice it there are negatives

Cheeseburgers and beer have many negative effects on my body too, but I still power those things down like they are going out of style.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Sounds like he/she has a crappy doctor. A doctor is supposed to not only prescribe treatment, they also should follow up on the treatment. If the treatment isn't working the doctor should either alter the dosage, recommend a different medication, or cancel the medication entirely and try something else. Also, I mentioned that therapy is a big part of this. Anxiety and depression are often just as much psychological as they are physical problems. Thus psychiatric care is often just as important as medication.

Hope your friend gets better and maybe finds a better doctor and/or psychiatrist who can help. It helped my sister, that's for sure.
