Rewatching my link you can see the USC player going low as the play went on
Talking about that now they announcers said he should have slid earlier.

Gotta love Booger saying Oregon has an advantage now because of Riaola’s legs. Has he ever seen DR play?!? Longest run in his career was 38 yards two years ago.

I know it is hard to grasp for some , but with a good offensive line Raiola is a high level QB .
He literally slid right into it. I hate seeing a kid get hurt like that, but you can't ignore that fact. Well, I guess minidisk can.
The "celebrating" afterwards was not a good look though.

The point is, Riaola’s a pocket passer. When he was at Nebraska he said that he’ll run if he needs to, but it’s not something that’s a big part of his game. Additionally, unless Oregon’s improved his pocket presence/awareness, he’ll run himself into sacks tonight.
Agreed, Chris talked about how the defender had to prepare for that big QB. Doesn't sound like anyone liked what he did after.
