Quayshon Alexander - leaves program

I wouldn’t take anything from the Alexander transfer. Dixon leaving hurts our depth. OLB a major concern.

Couple more should be popping up in the coming week.
According to Husker Online, Alexander was not a part of the 110-man Fall Camp roster a year ago. So yeah, this isn't a big hit.

Recruiting at the Linebacker positions needs to kick into another gear. Soon.

I didn't read the article, so maybe it mentions it. But wasn't he hurt last fall and that's why he wasn't on the 110? I remember him screwing up his shoulder in last year's spring game when he wasn't even supposed to play.

The article on Husker Online does not mention an injury, but you may very well be right.

Either way, he has never appeared in a game and this decision to transfer is his opportunity to find a place where he an get on the field.

Agreed. If you're a four star recruit and can't even see the field on special teams in three years, something isn't working. I'm surprised it took as long as it did.
