QPR vs. Bolton

Watched this morning's EPL game on ESPN...QPR loses 2-1 to Bolton. Lots of controversy in the first half when a QPR goal was not given - the ball being at least a foot and a half over the line was totally missed by the assistant. (Insert commentators' call for goal-line technology here, with the requisite swipe at Sepp Blatter). They did have a bit of a make-up call in the second half when Cissé scored after being offside, but the result puts QPR in the bottom three, more than likely. Not a great game to watch, honestly...not much skill or imagination most of the time.

Tim Ream played 90 minutes in defense for Bolton and had a great assist on the first goal - had a nasty giveaway later that nearly gave one back, as well.

Yeah that missed goal was inexcusable...there is no way he should have missed that and his excuse that he didn't see it does not past the test....

Ream is still hit n miss....can look all-world and then a dionkey all in a five minute period....one thing playing for a bottom side is he will get to defend beyond his wildest dreams...and hopefully get better and grow as he has the talent...now he needs to be more consistent....

The problem with most of the leagues in Europe....especially in England and Spain is you have 4-5 good teams and the rest are average or wrst and it shows more and more as the season wares on....and the money situation is ruing the sport in Europe...looks like Portsmouth coudl go under and Rangers is in serious trouble too....

Honestly there is not a team in the EPL or La Liga who is not in deep debt and they better figure it out or its only going to get worst....
