QB Heinrich Haarberg is N (Husker Legacy)

Hmmm...55% accuracy his junior year, and 58% his senior year....high school ball in Nebraska. Long way to go to be the guy that stirs the drink in Frost's ideal offense. Other than that niggling stat, seems to have the other measurables coaches want. Hope he works out.
Honestly, not familiar with his supporting cast.
Brady wasnt lights out coming out of Michigan, a different style, different supporting cast etc.
He has tools

These kinds of stats in HS can be misleading. What if every pass he threw was on target but the WR he threw to were average and dropped a bunch. Without knowing that info it is difficult to say how good of a passer he is.

There are tons of things that can go right and wrong on a given passing play and while his film doesn't suggest he's a highly polished passer, he doesn't look like he's a mess with accuracy and that he can still get better as well.

He won't be starting this year, but for the future, his ceiling is very high (as I've thought from the beginning)

I think the other thing people forget is that coming from Class C there is not as many coaches to work with different units. Class C you have a head coach MAYBE 2 paid assistants. The rest are volunteers. So he may have had a good position coach. Who knows what kind of coaching the WR and TE got.

The better part of that description is that they are all local — not from any of the recruiting hotbeds or some made up name like Calibraska!

Hopefully we can get to the point that they play for the school and not the name on the back of the jersey regardless of where they come from

Local is awesome but some of our greatest Huskers came from all reaches of the country.

Own the 500 mile radius as much as possible and fill in from the outside

And a talent pool of 330 kids. Maybe half are boys, and we all know that in most cases, parents aren't sending their kids to a Class C private school because they want to maximize their sports career. We had twice that number in 3 grades and we had a terrible time trying to put enough athletes on the field some seasons playing 11 man. Those 175 lb offensive linemen tended to have issues against most teams.
