Jeff Brohm, who guided Purdue to the Big Ten title game and went 36-34 with the Boilermakers, is finalizing a deal to coach Louisville, sources told ESPN.

Crazy as heck, didn't he have a chance to take that job before? Purdue played as the west champion.....and the HC leaves. Purdue will go back quickly to not caring.

Plus his 6th year senior QB is now gone, along with an all conference wr in Jones. Good time to bolt for home and money when you are so dependent on an accurate passer in your offense.

Surprised but I guess I shouldn't be. Still, Louisville is only 3 hours from West Lafayette. I guess he has an easier path to a twelve team playoff in the ACC too maybe?

That may depend on if/when the ACC scraps divisions.

Currently, Louisville is in the more difficult division. Clemson (#7 nationally), Florida State (#13), Syracuse, NC State, and Wake Forest all have 7-8 wins this season. Certainly more challenging than the Big Ten West.
