I read that his 2nd arrest was for speeding and then fleeing police when they tried to ticket him. Graded really poorly this year and character issues.

He was good enough to start at Alabama, I promise you he is good enough to start at Nebraska.
But I stayed at Holiday Inn Express so there's that
That's kind of where I am at. The guy started at Alabama.
Exactly. And how many of our linemen this past season could have started 10 games at Alabama?
And he played some as a freshman
Guilty LOL
Perhaps Benhart graded well. But when our line seemed to break down (late in the Iowa games this year and last) it was the guy Benhart was blocking that made Purdy throw early and sacked Dylan. Correct me if I wrong the opponent Benhart was blocking 3 years ago also strip sacked our QB against Iowa too (may be wrong).

Our standards aren't what they used to be!
He was our best lineman last year.
We aren't talking about three years ago. We are referencing last year, where he was decent. And we barely heard a peep from the masses like we did the previous 4 years.
No dispute there!
Did you mean to say: I WOULDN'T be surprised if we have some huge news coming soon?
If that's the case, I agree with you.
How bout we just Thank Mr Benhart for his tireless efforts and wish him well, lets hope he can hang in the big leagues for a few years.
