Last year we had high hopes for Gunnar. This year some are wondering if he and Knaack will start.
Thats a nice place to be.

How about this: we let Trae Taylor be a Millard South Patriot until he graduates then talk about his husker potential? His Millard team mates deserve it if nothing else. They nor his MS coach I imagine want the distraction of a husker QB on their roster. Let him finish his HS years, be a kid for another 10 months, perhaps win a state championship with his team, and then turn his attention to that college football thing. If the media doesn't let up, I guarantee that he will get burned out, lose his motivation, and start looking for an escape. I'm not saying he won't play for the huskers but for a kid his age it must be fun and the expectations are pretty heavy on him right now. So I hope he has a good season with The Patriots, goes to the Homecoming dance, enjoys his classes, meets a girl or two, roots for his schools basketball team, goes to Prom, and enjoys every minute of it all. After all of that we can talk about his husker career, starting in May next year.
Maybe so...maybe not. We have heard all of those things before but he is still a high school kid. It is not for you or me to "enjoy it" yet. Its unfair to his high school team if nothing else to keep acting like he is a husker. He is a Millard South Patriot so let's let him lead that team for now.He is the #1 QB in the country it comes with the territory
Incredibly level headef kid he can handle it
He is not going anywhere
Enjoy it
He is a generational talent
