Yep. Literally a life and death situation all of the way around.
It's got to be an unbelievable stressful time for Barney and his family. Can't sit around hoping for someone to die but that's the only way he can get well and survive.
He and his family are 100% Huskers through and through. Sure hope things work out positive for Barney and his family......
No doubt. And the bottom line is that possible donors die every day. For Barney, now it will just depend on his spot in the queue.
Absolutely stressful! Witnessed this w/ a family member who was in organ failure ten years ago. Blessings and prayers for the Cotton family for a good outcome.
Incredible what he and his family have given to this University.... A true Husker indeed. Peace & Comfort to his family during this struggle.... we know he has the kernels to endure this, hes proven that

Definitely praying for Coach Cotton and for the donors family (when one is found), as well. Such a stressful and sad situation. I am on the donor list. My kids know...

Thanks for sharing this. I had not heard of this. I'll be praying for him and that a donor comes through. He's a good man.
