We will need considerable talent acquisition in the portal, and contribution from at least one of the incoming freshman, to do that. This has been a remarkable season, but we still need to upgrade the talent and athleticism quite a bit.
 
One man’s worthless opinion here. On the court, he doesn’t look like he fits on the team. He also doesn’t seem ready for this level. His decision making is just not at the right level more often than not.

Uhm. The guy's Sixth Man of the Year. That's not gumbo. Had him a bunch of solid games. Will be even better next year. Great to have him in a Husker uniform to further establish a new tradition of winning. GBR!

Once again, being a fan doesn’t mean you bury your head in the sand and ignore the glaring realities you don’t like. Similarly, two things can be true at the same time. We can acknowledge that he played a huge part in the 20-0 run, while also trying to understand what has gone wrong with him and why he’s played terrible as the team went .500 the rest of the way.

He's a redshirt freshman , he was injured and ankle issues can linger, he is a hot head so he needs to learn control his emotion's without losing his edge and its a long season. Hopefully this week between Big Tournament and the NCAA's will help the whole team to step back catch their breath and refocus

He is a college student. A kid really and a young one at that. He is coachable and I love the aggressive attitude on the floor. Not afraid to drive the lane and he can shoot. If he stays he will improve his shooting to gain consistency. Connor will hopefully do the same. I would like to see that Iceland kid put on some weight and learn to rebound. And the huskers will be a team that portal players will look closely at. Big Ten Coach of the Year actually means something now in this portal era.

Until and unless they fix the NIL and NCAA the coaches are going to have a gun to their heads at every corner. I woiuld say he averaged 4 points a game prior to the Perdue game so there is that as well as defense. We are not deep enough to have this poop on the team prior to the NCAA tournament
