Post season contest

Clemson and UConn in a wild one. With Clemson up 4-3 in the 8th, UConn scores 3 to take a 6-4 lead to the 9th. Now with 2 outs, Clemson has scored 2 to tie it at 6-6.

edit: UConn comes back with a score the the bottom of the 9th to win 7-6 and force an elimination game Monday.

UCIrvine scores 2 in the bottom of the 9th to eliminate UCLA 4-3 and advance to the Supers.
 
In what was a 1-0 game Cal erupts for 7 runs in the bottom of the 8th to lead 8-0 going to the 9th. A Cal win means an elimination game Monday.

Florida St went on to win their suspended game with Alabama 11-1 and has advanced to the Super regionals.
 
So Carolina leads Stetson 4-2 in the 8th in the resumption of their suspended game. A So Car win and they advance.
Texas and Kent St have begun their elimination game and it is 0-0 in the 1st.

The other 4 (or 5 if Stetson comes back) elimination games will be played tonight.
 
So Carolina goes on to defeat Stetson 8-2 as they added 4 insurance runs in the top of the 9th. So Car advances to the Super Regionals.

Texas goes on to defeat Kent St 5-0 in their elimination game and they have advanced to the Supers.
 
The only National Seed (the top 8) to lose was #8 Rice as the other 7 advance to the Super Regionals.

So far 9 #1 home seeds have advanced with 1 #2 (Stanford) and 2 #3s (Miss St and UCIrvine).

TexAM and Clemson are still alive as #1 home seeds but five #1s have already been eliminated.

7 of us have Clemson winning their regional, but UConn has jumped on them already in the top of the first and have a 1-0 lead with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs.


edit: UConn ended up with 3 in the 1st and Clemson got 1 back in the 2nd and trail 3-1 in the bottom of the 4th.

Both UConn and Dallas Baptist getting off to big starts in their games.

Dallas Baptist scores 8 runs in the 1st.
UConn scores 3 in the 1st and 5 more in the 5th. Looks like another #1 home seed is going down (Clemson)


Edit: Oral Roberts came back with 4 in their half of the 1st and so 12 runs were scored in the inning.
