I played golf yesterday with a friend that's a local sports talk radio personality and he usually has some reliable information from people in the know. $800k is also the same number he mentioned. Berke had a different number in mind and Nebraska chose not to meet it. I liked BK and I think most of us would like to have him back for defensive and rebounding purposes but he would need to vastly improve on the offensive end to warrant getting paid the number he was asking for. Was also told that Frager is getting $1M and Sandfort is getting $2M. I know which two I'm offering the Millions to and it's not BK.
Did you hear if Frager is getting some sort of shoe deal? I saw something that I didn't understand/process. The numbers that I had seen floated for Frager (1.25m) and Sandfort (2.4m) were higher but same neighborhood (nice neighborhood).
I'm not sure about the shoe deal. I also saw something mentioning that for Frager but it looked like fake news to me. It's pretty hard to know what to believe any more.

Almost daily I am on people for not doing some simple research -- just gobbling up whatever, assuming it must be true. These fake Facebook pages have thousands of ignorant Husker fans following them. Ugh

He's a solid contributor, but I don't see him as $1.6 good. He's a good defender, but gets pushed around by true 5s.
I am a little surprised that nothing has been said yet about where Berke Buyuktuncel might land. I have not even seen any rumors about where he might be visiting or who he might be talking to.

Berke is just taking advantage of the worst of what NIL has brought to the NCAA. And that is overseas, professional players taking away opportunities from U.S. high school players.
State sponsored Universities should be ashamed of themselves for how they abandoned the student-athletes they are here to serve in the name of getting a competitive edge. Other sports like track and cross country are even worse.

I thought foreign players were capped on the amount of NIL funding they could receive? Rev share not so much?
