To be fair … NU was out-coached several times during that period and 6 of their wins were coaching wins, not talent wins. Starting with the Ireland trip.

To be fair no matter how you want to dissect the defeats…Nebraska still lost.

Unfortunately, Nebraska did not have enough extra talent to make up for the coaching deficiencies against the “less talented” team from Evanston, Illinois.

Looks like NW may be in a “lose-lose” situation as the “entire team” issues a strong stAtement in support of Fitzgerald and calling the allegations “exaggerated and twisted” “lies” and “fabrications”. Fire Fitz and have a team revolt, or keep him and endure strong and justified criticism.

A little vague on how the dry humping or naked center exchanges were exaggerated or twisted out of context.
