Well that's disappointing.
And let us know how it turned out. Are you keeping it old school with just some good mustard and rye bread?
I haven't had a sandwich yet, but I have just thrown a little mustard on a slice and ate it that way; it was incredible. I"m definitely going to do the 30 days from now on when I make them.
Yeah, that pickling spice just really penetrates the meat after a month.
Steamed for 45 minutes. Havarti cheese, rye bread, dijon mustard. Turned out great.
