i will never appologize for saying these games are not good for us to play. OSU has now lost to them, and if they play out the season and have similar records, it could mean the diff between home or away games. just doesnt make sense.......
Amazing at how bad Day looked in the 4th quarter. Also all world Smith dropping 2 passes in the 4th that they absolutely needed.Epic choke job by OSU. That 4th quarter was an absolute master class in how not to coach a team to win a game with a 3 score lead.
also i sensed their D ran out of gas, it was 90 there at gametime.Amazing at how bad Day looked in the 4th quarter. Also all world Smith dropping 2 passes in the 4th that they absolutely needed.
Well, at this point, it would make zero sense for us to play a top 5 team. Anyone can see we wouldn't match up. Playing championship level teams (out of conference, when you can choose otherwise) is just futile if you don't match up. First you have to learn to beat the teams that you're supposed to beat, before you can take on the big boys.i will never appologize for saying these games are not good for us to play. yeah but this is typical thought of game analysis vs season. if your competing for a championship or trying to establish a winning season tradition like NU is trying to do, it makes no sense. hence i'm fine with getting rid of the vols game...... its great for fans but for the teams road to a championship it makes no sense....Well, at this point, it would make zero sense for us to play a top 5 team. But iron sharpens iron. What does Indiana gain by playing 3 OOC games that are easier than their scrimmages? It proves nothing, and nobody wants to watch those games.
