I never thought Nebraska could hire a worse coach at the time. They did, three more time. Riley, Frost and Rhule are all worse, although with Frost and Rhule, it wasn’t known at the time of hire. With Riley, it was a given. This program seriously needs some super smart, common sense having people at the absolute TOP.

Rhule is not worse than Callahan. Not on any planet.
The record says he is. But ignore those, just the facts.
Theyre career records are both barely over .500 at NU. Of course, the program was in SLIGHTLY better shape in 2004 than in 2023. Don't let your dislike of Rhule cloud your judgment.
I don’t dislike Rhule. He’s a likable fella. However, so far, his coaching on the field, in games, sucks. Has nothing to do with him the person. I do however, question his desire, his want to. Should be easy for anyone who isn’t stupid to question it. Dude has even more life changing cash coming his way whether he wins or not. Many lose motivation in that aspect of things. He wouldn’t be the first, or the last. Have to see what his salt is?

How much he makes is irrelevant. If you want to say Rhule isn't the right coach, that's fine. I dont agree but whatever. But to say Bill Freaking Callahan is a better coach than him is just.....something. 70-10.
And you can just ignore the strength of the respective leagues in which they played - very insightful analysis.
Rhule isn’t over .500. He's 19-19. Callahan was 27-22. Fact is, to date, both suck. Rhule is going to get an opportunity to change that. Will he?

Big 12 was the strongest league in the country at that time. The BIG is a top heavy league. Most are. The Big 12 was strong back then. But ignore that. What an ignorant post.
It's completely irrelevant. How much he makes has nothing to do with him as a coach or in a comparison to Bill Callahan.
