Bennington junior Olivia Mauch committed to Nebraska volleyball on Wednesday. The libero is the No. 48 recruit in the 2024 recruiting class.

NU volleyball commit Olivia Mauch draws comparison to 2 liberos Husker fans know well
In just two seasons of high school volleyball, Bennington's Olivia Mauch has put herself in a "different category." So the Huskers came calling.
“Mauch is the No. 48 recruit in the class by Prepvolleyball.com, and No. 3 at her position. Of the 20 players chosen to try out for the United States junior national team later this summer, Mauch is one of just two liberos.”
Yet interestingly, she was only Class B honorable mention all state by the LJS this year, with many liberos listed ahead of her. Sounds like her club work may be the difference.
