Agreed. Which is why they are the "new" NU. Probably did what they had to do by joining the SEC; 100 percent sold their soul in the process.

In the new NIL pecking order and budgets, if I am a rising QB and have a $3 million offer to play at either OU or oSu, I'd probably take oSu. The reason why is simple: I probably get to play, and increase my stock so that, 1) I am a higher draft pick than before, or 2) I can parlay my good work into a blockbuster deal at a top end P2 program (any of about 8) for my final year or two.

OU isn't going to outbid Texas, LSU, Tennessee, Florida, or even Ole Miss for big shots. And for now, not even Texas Tech. They are going to be in roughly the same budget camp as their little brother, but little brother is going to have a lot more to show for it.
