Huskers Adjust Beverage Policy in Preparations for High Temperatures
In anticipation of higher temperatures for Saturday’s home opener against Ohio, Nebraska Athletics will make an exception to its food and beverage policy. Fans will be allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water into Memorial Stadium. As always, Memorial Stadium policy allows personal empty water bottles inside the stadium for fans to be able to refill at the water fountains inside.
Fans are encouraged have a plan in place to stay hydrated. Memorial Stadium has medical staff on-site for all home games. If you become overwhelmed by heat, please reach out to the nearest stadium official or event staff member for assistance. For more game day information, please visit www.huskers.com/operations.

Lenhardt barely beat out junior Williams Nwaneri. To be fair, I am not sure he actually did beat him out altogether. Nwaneri had a bit of an injury late in camp which probably was the difference. Like our LT, Nwaneri looks like an easy NFL first rounder when stepping off the bus. But success has come a bit slowly for the former 5* super-prospect. But to his credit, he has continued to work and now has a full year’s experience behind him.
