That's coaching or a player unwilling to block....goes back to coacbing.

Rhule pulled a Frost by stating in different words that he inherited a team with weak confidence. It's on Rhule and staff to build their confidence.

I'm calling my shot right now just like I did then. This isn't going to end well. And I'm not calling for firings. I'm just saying that however long the Matt Rhule lasts, it's not ending with Nebraska back to relevance.

I think it’s a little too early to conclude this but I can understand why some are feeling that way. In fact many others probably would if we weren’t Nebraska fans. I think we lack some X and O coaching at the coordinator level. As far as that goes even with Rhule himself. He is a cultivator of personal and could be a great CEO coach.

It’s early but I think he needs to get his assistants smarter faster or smarter assistants faster.

Just seems this always plagues Nebraska, Indiana is a perfect example of kicking ass day 1 and not letting off the gas. Why must we say it's ok it's early or wait till next year.. this current college football landscape this should not be the case.....
Guess we wait 3 years for the dumpster fire to become a 4 alarm blaze then give him another year to put out the 3 year dumpster fire.

Anyone else of the opinion that Rhule should have totally gutted the roster of all the holdover guys the first year? Losing and "Here we go again mentality" is contagious and should have been purged year one. Our 5th year guys sure as heck aren't leading like winners.....

I agree they aren't leading like winners.
Too much talent, size and should be speed to totally gut roster first year.

I agree with him. He tried to do things that are not in what they usually do and they did a poor job of executing it. He wasn't real sure about how to attack their offense so he got passive thinking they could play bend don't break and it backfired.

No truer words have been spoken by Satterfield. To be good at running the football you have to commit to doing it. A great case in point this year is Wisconsin. They have over the last few games really committed to run game and it has opened up their passing that much more.
