We r not allowed lto lose like all those teams ahead of us in the rankings!!
I know we all wanted the #2 seed, but the reality is there aren't any teams in the B1G that are honest to goodness cupcakes. Like most, I like it when those lower seeds get worn down this late in the season, but we also see some get on a roll and play their best when they get to play the spoiler.
With guys like Mast and Sam, guys who seem to try to remain pretty even, I don't worry that we'll clench if we get pushed by someone. I could be wrong, but I think you'd see an elevated focus if we get into a grinder.

Agreed on the #2 seed. Whoever we end up facing will not be a pushover. I wanted the #2 just because thats the best we could get

Wisconsin and UCLA are the teams I wouldn’t want to play. I don’t mind Purdue, I just hope Indiana can beat on them again. I get we are going to give up rebounds against Purdue, but the odds of Kaufman-Renn and Cluff combining for 33 rebounds again are basically improbable.
Indiana is on the wrong side of the bubble I think so they will be motivated. We definitely don’t want Purdue making a run and some how jumping Iowa State if they get upset early.
Purdue is 10 in the NET. Something to gain, not a lot to lose for us if that's who we play. Wisconsin 26 and UCLA 34.
Agreed. Our path is likely forged. My only worry (for not getting OKC) is for Purdue to somehow jump Iowa State and ISU still be ahead of us.
100%. I would love making a Big 10 tourney run.l, but it would serve us better to get rest. Of course confidence can be huge, too. I get the feeling we are already confident with the amount of upperclassman.
I agree Bob. The AP Poll this week was kinda sus. I think we are a 3 in the Dance. Two is up for grabs. Let's hope we can win one or more in the B1G. I think if we win in the quarters that gives the committee more to think about. Then we can pray the committee sees things more rationally than the writers. Purdue will be very tough if there are they. I frickin detest preppie boy Loyer.
