Northern Colorado played tougher than Iowa State and Creighton in many ways. I think it took the Huskers by surprise. Probably will keep them focused on getting better.

The first town in Nebraska I stopped at was Chadron. Quaint, little college town. Oh my, that was 45 years ago. My, how time flies. I was going to the great metropolis town of Alliance! Population around 9,700 if the Railroad is thriving. It is about 7900 now. My wife, God rest her soul, was born and raised there. I miss driving on The Butte (Box Butte Avenue). Made from historic brick pavers.

I also had the pleasure of shaking hands with Coach Osborne, at the Pioneer Day Parade, during his "political days".
Gracious man, for sure. Coach Osborne autographed my new Husker hat, that is still not worn to this day!! Thank you, Coach!

Was on my Harley riding into Alliance few months ago.
Nasty storm rolling in. Got a motel room just in time.
Rode around the next morning. Checked out the town, then on to SD.
Nice town
