NU leads 1-0 after 2 1/2 innings.
What's up with @CrnhskrBob? Last I heard, he was going dancing. The cows came home but no sign of him...hehe.
NU leads 1-0 after 3 innings
NU leads 1-0 after 4 innings
NU leads 3-0 after 8 1/2 innings
NU wins 3-0. We are now 17-4 in the conference, and 33-11 overall
Couldn’t watch or post …. But I listened on my iPhone.
VERY solid, traditional baseball game today.
Great pitching! ….we hit the ball when we needed to…. Jeter Wortlheys first home run and the way the wind was blowing he had to literally CRUSH the thing.
And despite that really fast artificial turf….
Our defense was spectacular!
Just really a satisfying game, even though some might say a “slow” game.
Well played baseball! And the other side played pretty well… they made some spectacular defensive plays themselves..
So much better than yesterday‘s trip to the dentist.
Win the series, move on.

Far more efficient enterprise today. Good for the staff to see what trusting your stuff looks like. Illinois a good and proud baseball program, weren’t gonna roll over (who really does?) and are surely disappointed with the series loss. And we will happily take the series win.
