This is a bad loss if we are hoping to host a regional. Illinois is barely a .500 team.
5-10 after 8 innings. This game basically came down to a Grand Slam after an error extended the inning,
Final: 5-10. Very poor team effort.

I was shadowing the game glancing on my phone from time to time.
While sitting in Camden Yards with my son watching the Orioles get 20 hits and 6 home runs and just flat pummeling the Red Sox tonight! I am an Orioles fan…..a good night!
Illinois is an average team but they have beaten some good squads like Oregon.
You can’t take them lightly….we did…..and we paid tonight.
Hopefully they have gotten that out of their system.
You can’t keep walking batters, have a key error that leads to a Grand Slam….and quiet bats and still just expect to win. Doesn’t happen.
Think we should probably go back to Ty as our Friday Starter….Cooper is getting pummeled.
Better day tomorrow methinks.
