NU goes 3 up, 3 down in the top of the 1st

Cooper Katskee is looking to bounce back from his start last Friday night.
Cooper retired the first two batters on three pitches, but gave up a HR to the 3rd batter.
NU is down 0-1 after 1 inning
NU is down 0-1 after 1 inning
NU goes 3 up, 3 down again in the 2nd inning.
NU is down 0-1 after 1 1/2 innings
NU is down 0-1 after 1 1/2 innings
Katskee had some drama in the bottom of the 2nd, but he kept Illinois off the scoreboard.

In the bottom of the 2nd, Illinois had runners at 2nd and 3rd and one out. Katskee was able to end the inning with a K and a pop out to keep the score at 0-1.
NU finally got their 1st hit in the top of the 3rd. Runners at the corners with 1 down.
No runs scored. 0-1 after 2 1/2 innings
The top of the 3rd ended on a strike out-caught stealing DP.

Illinois breaks it open in the bottom of the 3rd. Illinois leads 7-0, and they are still batting. Katskee is not a weekend starter. Very disappointing.
