Going to USAFA this weekend, eh. It will be cold and windy so they won't get a wx advantage. Glad he isn't visiting there in the fall.

While true... David Akers is basically the Alex Henery of the NFL. The guy is almost always ice -- it's why he's been with the Eagles since 1999. Akers has been selected to 5 Pro Bowls... and was the leading scorer of all NFL players during the past decade. It really just goes to show that even the best can have a bad day -- sadly, for Akers -- it came at the wrong time.
 
Jason Dann a walk on from Texas always wanted to be a Husker . There were a lot of very good things said about his ability as a senior in high school last year. He certainly must have learned something from Alex this past year.
 




Looks like Brady Hoke going to Michigan changed his schools of choice....San Diego State is out of the picture and Michigan now in it along with the USAFA and Nebraska.....he plans to visit Michigan, the Saturday (21 Jan) before Nebraska, and they have offered him a scholarship which Nebraska still has yet to do....which tells me this kid must be pretty good for Hoke to offer at Michigan too....I just hope we don't lose out on a chance on him by not offering him ahead of time...
