Two local NU commits started their season off in the right direction Thursday evening in the high school baseball season opener. Reetz hit two homers (right handed) and Hood hit one. Reetz also hit a triple (left handed). Norris High School beat Lincoln High 11--0. Good things on the way for NU baseball. (depending on the MLB draft). Going to be a fun season watching these two play ball. :nod::)

Reetz, Hood and the rest of the Titans beat Waverly High School 12-2 on Friday. Reetz had one hit, one walk and struck out once. He had a great night behind the plate as well. Hood pitched a shut out during his six innings on the mound. Lots of MLB scouts at the game.

I hope he is wanting to play for us, if he doesn't go pro. It would be nice to have a 2nd backup catcher :)
