BTN+ uses whatever announcers they can find. 2 years ago I was watching a Husker match on + and in the first rotation a serving specialist substituted in for the right front player. One of the young announcers said "it looks like trouble for Cook already as he's already gone to the bench for help". Of course, an idiotic and extremely stupid comment. But, the young (male) announcer probably is involved in sports and thinks his knowledge and ego enables him to announce any sports event. I suspect he's never analyze 1 detail of vb strategy, but that didn't stop him from shooting off his mouth. I wrote to + and noted the stupidity of the announcer but didn't receive any response, which was expected.

BTN+ use's students that are studing sportscasting. so some of them my not be very good. I have heard a few good ones this year though.
