Notre Dame placed on probation for one year
The NCAA has placed Notre Dame's football program on probation for one year over recruiting violations.

What's funny about this story is that recruiting the same kid managed to get Florida, Texas A&M *and* Notre Dame put on probation for a year. The kid ended up signing with Washington.
