I really want to laugh at that comment, but I just can't. Weep maybe a little but that's about it.
I hear ya...hopefully, those defensive players can avoid each other and just knock the snot out of the Northwestern offensive players this week.
If we can get to the QB and their run game gets its average of 77 yards we will win
They do have a good defense so Martinez will be tested too.
This is a game we can win but we have to avoid mistakes and buco penalties to boot
Like I mentioned earlier, win third down on both sides of the ball with no penalties negating those wins and then win the turnover battle. That will lead to a Nebraska victory.
Yeah they have to do that and thus far have been unable to do what you talked about. With that being said there has to be a turning point and I am hoping this is the game they make that leap. I think we win this game because I think we will make enough of a leap to win a close one

I agree. This is the week the team makes an even bigger turn around that corner.
I'll miss the game, so I'll have to read about it and catch the replay on the internet. I'm heading to a conference in Greeley, CO, tomorrow and won't be back until late Saturday night. Since the game is on ABC, I won't get to record it.
Get the first win under our belts, maybe we go on a major roll and win out!!
I think thier QB is still running from the last three years. Make somebody else hurt us.
At this point, fewer penalties is where I would like to see improvement.
Then the punting game, and field position. Shorter fields will help our abysmal point/yard ratio.
I think benching whats his name for whats his name at punter is a great move, not sure why it too so long.
I think Frost has given all the older guys more than ample opportunity to play their way out of a starting job.
What's his name is a pretty good kickoff guy. Can't understand why he went to rugby style punting. Not athletic enough for that
Im assuming it was a coaching move to give coverage guys more time to get downfield, and then try to directionally put it down that side of the field.
Must've worked in practice, but on a wet field, it was U-G-L-Y!
No kidding - shown by the punt attempt while laying on his bum.
But I doubt it the rugby style change was his decision...had to come from his coach. I've seen some VERY effect rugby stylers...but it doesn't develops in a couple weeks of practice.
