So on this subject, after watching the video above, I'm wondering how short the weekly recap video on Twitter will be this week, if they even put one out...:Unsure:
If the team can not block out the media and frankly the fans they are in big trouble
I do not think its issue
Agree it was one of Bo’s biggest faults...the Omaha media print and radio love to fan the flames ...they build incredible expections for an 4-8 team with a ton of new faces on offense then begin criticizing them for not living up to them.
This is 100% correct.
The armchair expert media and fans build up expectations and then somehow decide that the coaches are at fault when their personal expectations aren't fulfilled.
This team...most of these players...were a combined 8-16 over the past two seasons. To suddenly expect 10+ wins was not only irrational, it was delusional. Give these coaches time to recruit and establish a culture. Only then will we see a return to prominence.
Show me evidence that this team can block anything so far this season. And yes, they are in at least some trouble as a result. All eyes on coach Austin in the next two years. Soon he will be coaching all of "his guys" recruited for "this system." Nebraska's ability to develop O-line players from their Freshman season on has been very suspect. While Wisconsin coaches up 2 and 3 star recruits to All Conference levels we're still making excuses for Juniors completely whiffing and Ole'ing game after game.

Let's not blame the Omaha media for that. There were a lot of optimistic comments coming out from Frost and his coaching staff before the season started.
